• If R&D is the lifeblood of AstraZeneca, Operations is the muscle – the function within AstraZeneca responsible for Manufacturing and Supply.
• It provides the vital link between Drug Discovery and Development, and Sales and Marketing.
• Operations is the critical link between the laboratory bench and the pharmacy shelf; managing the end-to-end supply of AstraZeneca medicines from procurement of raw materials through to distribution to the company's global markets.
• Employing 11,600 people in over 18 sites in 16 countries, it’s one of the largest areas of our business, opening up before you a panorama of vibrant, challenging career opportunities.
